SP24 Sessions are now on-demand[24-hour virtual SharePoint Conference]

SP24 is a 24 hour virtual SharePoint conference, which was started on 16th April 2014, 10 PM GMT and went for the next 24 hours on various concepts in SharePoint, Office 365 and Yammer. There were more than 50 MVPS , MCMs, MCTs delivered sessions in this conference. All those sessions are available now on demand basis. These sessions  are great resources to enhance our SharePoint skills. With the great success of SP24, again on May 1st, 2014 SP 24 Rewound took place. Thanks to SP24 team for the great job they have done.

We are watching and learning from these sessions, we hope that you will also learn and get benefit by watching these great sessions.

Autohosted Apps Preview program will end on June 30, 2014

Autohosted apps preview program was one of the patterns we had when SharePoint 2013 was released. Microsoft now confirmed that this program will end by June 30 2014. This means if you have developed any apps in production environment using Autohosted model, you need to convert them to provider hosted app.

Now we have only two patterns to choose to develop Apps, one SharePoint hosted app and another one is provide hosted apps. Please check the updated article on patterns in SharePoint app development.


TechEd North America 2014 - SharePoint

This month we had Teched in North America from May 12 to May 15. You can find all the recorded sessions for SharePoint and hands on labs for various concepts. This provides an opportunity for all us to learn more about SharePoint.
