Clear Inactive data fields in info-path form cascade drop-down 

Use Case:

Clear inactive state data fields from cascade drop-down while changing parent drop-down selection.

Step 1:

Click on parent drop down (country) and select add new rule option from top ribbon.

Step 2:

Add rule will display list of available  actions we can perform on data field, from those select this field changes action.

Step 3:

After clicking this field changes action it will display a window to set a rule on a particular field.

Its having 3 fields.

     a)      Action: set action field to set a fields value.

     b)      Field:   select a field through x-path button on which to perform action.

After clicking X-path button it will display list of available columns. select state data field as we need to clear states whenever country changes.

           c)  Value:  leave this field as an empty value.

Finally action = set fields value; field = state; value = empty.

Click on OK and publish the changes and check drop down fields finally.
