Workflow(SharePoint 2013 Online) based on Status

Hi Dev,

I am new born to the SharePoint Development.

Lately I am having to tackle an issue, where I know for a fact I am going in circles.

The issue is, I am in a middle of creating a workflow based on the status field in an InfoPath form. Email has to fire up to the employee based on the following status(Draft, Mid Term Review, Year End Review).

But whenever I try to pick the status field in the workflow, I seems to get the in built status values. First thing, is there a way to change the default status values? if not how can I assign the above status values?.

Please see my workflow steps
1. If satus equals draft
2. Email employee with the appraisal date and notify the line manager about the email which was sent to the employee
3. If status equals Mid term review
4. Email employee with the appraisal date and notify the line manager about the email which was sent to the employee
5. If status equals Year review
6. Email employee with the appraisal date and notify the line manager about the email which was sent to the employee

In between I am logging the data in the workflow history.

I have recently found your videos in the YouTube and I have subscribed to it. Some of the videos have actually helped me during this project.

I would really appreciate if you could shed some light on this issue.

Many Thanks

Ravi
